Welcome Statement

Dear Fellowmen, Family and Friends,

In less than one year from now, we will converge on Baltimore to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc.    We are expecting our 50th Anniversary Celebration to be the largest gathering of Grooves in history, so you don't want to miss it!  You can browse our web site to get information on the schedule of events, including a luncheon that will honor our Founders.  While we celebrate the past, we will also spend time fulfilling our Purpose as we serve others.  In the upcoming months, our charitable arm, the Groove Fund, Inc., will announce a new initiative that is designed to advance the interests of young men who want to pursue a college education.  Simultaneously, Groove Phi Groove will undertake an ambitious fundraising campaign to support the women in our lives who are, or who may be, affected by breast cancer (Groove Phi Cares).  Now, just like when we were founded in 1962, our mission is to educate and empower the people in our communities.  Join us as we embark upon this wonderful journey towards Baltimore on October, 12, 2012 as we continue the work started by our Founders to improve the society that surrounds us.
